Project Description Country: USA Location: Poway Total Budget: $1,000 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Water, sanitation and hygiene Activity Type: Community Development: Disaster Recovery Summary: Provide one emergency Shelter Box complete with vital shelter and living supplies Shelter Box is a non-profit organization that provides an all-in-one emergency box that consist of a complete living home inclusive of a living unit (tent), thermal blankets and ground cover for sleeping, cooking utensils and water purification equipment all custom geared for disaster hit areas. We look to also supply the box with filter mask. As the world is going through dramatic health changes during COVID19 to all ranges of families, the Shelter Box mission to address the dramatic humanitarian need for basic living continuity is key in providing health relief to families that may have been displaced and are struggling to maintain daily living. The funds from this grant will go to providing a unit distributed from Shelter Box.
