Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Pablado Migual Aleman Total Budget: $3,450 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: Painting of classrooms and bathrooms of the newly built classrooms of the Triqui school in Pablado Migual Aleman, Mexico Newly constructed and completed classrooms and bathrooms of the Triqui School need to be sealed and painted both inside and out. The sealing process has been done by both members of the Triqui tribe and some Rotarians of the Hermosillo Millilumen Rotary Club. Funds from this grant will pay for paint, materials and some labor to paint the walls, doors, and bathrooms both inside and out. The lead for the project is Tere Ruiz President of the Millilumen Club along with her brother German Ruiz who retired from the construction industry. They and several other hired workers and Triqui Tribe and Rotarians will do the project. 30 days to complete once started. This project has been a grass roots effort involving numerous Rotary clubs and Rotarians in our District.
