The District Funds will be used to purchase clinical and medical supplies, drugs, reading glasses, and corrective eyeglasses to the people in need. These supplies will be taken to the Philippines by the members of the Medical Mission team in January-February 2026. This is our 26 years of doing the medical Mission to the Philippines.
The Rotary Club of San Diego-Paradise Valley medical mission team will provide free medical care to the under served areas in the Philippines. The medical mission team is aided by local Rotary Clubs, volunteer doctors, dentists, surgeons and nurses from the Philippines and the USA.
The Medical Mission serves children, child and adults with free medical consultations, dental treatments and hygiene, minor surgeries, reading glasses, corrective eyeglasses, free vitamins, for children and adults and the much needed medications for those who can not afford prescription drugs. The project will focused on educating the families and the public about methods on disease prevention and treatment, health complications, proper nutrition and hygiene.
Goals: Distribution of prescription drugs/medicines, clinical supplies for surgeries, dental care and treatment, corrective eyeglasses, and reading eyeglasses to those in great need in the community. The local Rotary Clubs with the cooperation of the local government units, local health clinics will follow the need and the condition of the people served.
